Weekly Gratitude

The calming softness of candlelight after the power went off unexpectedly this evening.

Watching the boys run off in excitement upon reaching the Christmas Faire at their school, confident and eager for fun with their friends.

Finding new perspectives, and remembering that I can always break out of old reactive behaviours if I choose to.

Doodles, and remembering that it is okay to sometimes let others see part of our dark sides.

The amazing ability of the body to heal, and how acutely grateful I am for health after a period of illness.

The relief of achieving some of my goals, and getting tasks ticked off my to-do list.

Happy heart, happy lips.

The infectious excitement of decorating the Christmas tree and hauling out stockings, Christmas sacks, and of course, hats.

“Merry Christmas Mummy!”
